Siphon toilet: The siphon phenomenon of a toilet is the use of the pressure difference in the water column to cause water to rise and then flow to a lower point. Due to the different atmospheric pressures on the water surface at the nozzle, water will flow from the side with higher pressure to the side with lower pressure, resulting in the siphon phenomenon and sucking away dirt.
There are three types of siphon toilets (regular siphon, vortex siphon, and jet siphon).
Ordinary siphon type: The impulse is average, the inner wall flushing rate is also average, the water storage is polluted, and there is noise to some extent. Nowadays, many siphons are equipped with water replenishment devices to achieve perfect siphons, which are relatively easy to block.
Jet siphon type: When flushing, water comes out from the nozzle. It first washes away the dirt on the inner wall, then quickly siphons and completely replaces the water storage. The flushing effect is good, the flushing rate is average, and the water storage is clean, but there is noise.
Vortex siphon type: There is a drainage outlet at the bottom of the toilet and a water outlet on the side. When flushing the inner wall of the toilet, a rotating vortex will be generated. In order to thoroughly clean the inner wall of the toilet, the flushing effect is also negligible, but the drainage diameter is small and easy to block. Do not pour some large dirt into the toilet in daily life, as there will be basically no problem.
The siphon toilet has relatively low noise, good splash and odor prevention effects, but it is more water consuming and relatively easy to block compared to the direct flush toilet (some major brands have solved this problem with technology, which is relatively good). It is recommended to equip a paper basket and a towel.
Note:
If your pipeline has been displaced, it is recommended to use a direct flush toilet to prevent blockage. (Of course, a siphon toilet can also be installed, and according to many homeowners’ actual measurements, it is basically not clogged. It is recommended to purchase a toilet with a high water tank and a large flushing volume, and the displacement distance should not be too long, not more than one meter. It is best to set a slope within 60cm, and the displacement device should be set as much as possible. In addition, it is necessary to consider the diameter of the toilet drainage pipeline, which should be more than 10cm. For toilets below 10cm, it is still recommended to use a direct flush toilet.).

3. It is not recommended to install a siphon type toilet if there is a trap in the original pipeline. Because the siphon toilet already comes with its own trap, there is a high probability of double trap blockage, and it is not recommended to install it in special circumstances.
4. The distance between pits in the bathroom is usually 305mm or 400mm, which refers to the distance from the center of the toilet drain pipe to the back wall (referring to the distance after laying tiles).
